There will be about 40 different vendors (over 70 booths!) there with all kinds of curriculum and homeschool products! Whether you are a veteran homeschooler or just thinking about homeschooling, you can come out and talk to the different representatives about which curriculum would be best for your family. Maybe you would just like to supplement what your children are doing at school. Then this is the fair for you. You can come and browse and purchase during this fair. You can take your time and actually have a chance to look through those books and materials you've been seeing in catalogs and on the internet. You will receive a vendor brochure bag & also be eligible to win GREAT door prizes while you're there!

The purpose of the Midwest Parent Educators Conference 2003 is to provide information on homeschooling techniques and curriculum choices. The attendees will be primarily intermediate and experienced homeschooling families, but a significant number of attendees will be those who are considering the possibility of homeschooling next year or in the near future. Students of attendees cover all age ranges.

Over 2,000 individuals attended the 2002 conference. This attendance does not include the 100+ workshop presenters, 70 pages, and representatives from 72 exhibitors. Attendance is expected to be between 2,000 and 2,500 for the 2003 conference. There will be up to 150 exhibitor booths. Among the speakers will be:

Diana Waring of "Diana Waring - History Alive!", which produces books, tapes, videos, and history curriculum for the homeschool market.

Steve Lambert of “Five in a Row”, an approach which takes outstanding children's literature and uses it as the "gateway" to approach social studies, language arts, art, math and science.  And others to be announced.
