Lift Chute FAQ

The Jo-Da-Ly Lift ChuteTM solves the problem of accurately placing gravel, concrete or other material from a wide loader bucket into a small hole or narrow trench or form. It adds the feature of a funnel with a hydraulic lift to the strength and utility of a bucket to provide a combination which is truly self loading and capable of placing a wide variety of materials.

The Lift ChuteTM was designed to speed the placement of gravel into the narrow trenches required by some septic systems. It quickly became apparent that while The Lift ChuteTM is superb for placing gravel, it is also a natural for pouring concrete. The reach of the chute allows the operator to stay safely clear of the overdig, and the accuracy of placement virtually eliminates the need for shovels, wheelbarrows or handwork.

Whether it is hard-to-reach areas or easy-to-reach situations, the chute saves time, manpower, and money. A general contractor out of St. Louis said conservatively that the Lift ChuteTM saved him ten to fifteen man hours on its first job! An Illinois contractor said he saved $800 on one job using The Lift ChuteTM. The Lift ChuteTM really is a wise investment.

Hydraulically Operated Chute The Lift ChuteTM is hydraulically operated and is provided with a smooth-front utility bucket, in 60", 66", and 73" sizes. The Lift Chute TM is attached to the bucket by three pins, which allow it to be quickly connected or disconnected as needed. The Lift Chute TM is easily connected to your skid steer's auxiliary hydraulic system.
Lifted Chute When The Lift ChuteTM is raised the operator can use the bucket for grading, loading and other standard operating procedures. When the chute is lowered, material can be placed through the chute quickly and accurately. Therein lies the chute's versatility.
Lowered Chute Standard features include a cylinder rod cover, an adjustable mouth, a 36" extension and a rubber seal at the cutting edge. The rod cover protects the cylinder rod from concrete splatter. The adjustable mouth provides even greater precision in the placement of material. The 36" extension offers unparallelled reach and excellent visibility when placing your load. The rubber seal eliminates the leakage of fines or concrete, and can be adjusted as the bucket cutting edge wears.

An optional vibrator is available to improve the flow of low-slump concrete or other flow-resistant materals.
